BATSHIT insane ! So heres a quick life update to better understand the unsual situation at hand So my boyfriend and i recently moved into a very large house in Los angeles with about 4 other people Ben and i have been having VERY bizarre dreams EVERY single night and we both wake up every morning and share about 10 minutes just describing our messed up dreams to each other. The other day i was sitting by the pool with one of the roomates and his girlfriend and just for shits and giggles and not expecting much of a response i asked the two of them if by any chance they have ever had any bizarre dreams. They reacted to this question by staring at each other and then wide eyed they nodded to me and said " HAHA OH MAN YES ! " Turns out each and every roomate has had some pretty messed up dreams every single night. One of them included a dead body flashing on the bed in on of the dreams. (I did some research on the house and since 1960 it has had 19 tenants 5 of which lived in this house till they died only one of which i can actually confirm after much research that they died IN this house and not at the hospital.) There is one thing in common though that intrigued me enough to actually research the house lineage and that was not just the fact that everyone is having odd dreams every single night ...but the fact that everyone has at least once dreamt about ...the exact same thing. EVeryone who has stayed in this house in one of the rooms has had a dream involving a large dark stone mansion. Each persons dream has been a little different but all involved one similarity and that was the mansion itself. My dream with the mansion was odd...and when i told the roomates they seemed...a little freaked. ( i think they think im a little ...odd now ... ) Basicly There was this giant old stone looking mansion it kind of looked like the one in the begining of aqua teen hunger force ...but not as ...fun ....it was a little castle like any how this house was midway between heavan and hell and the people who lived there for whatever reason killed people and used human skulls to go bowling ...they would pop three holes in the top of the skull and bowl away. SO THERES THAT Last nights dream was interesting and i cant remember to much to this will be brief. so it started off in my house in Massachusetts we used to have hamsters in real life and i was dreaming about them we used to keep the two hamsters in the basement for some reason in dream they were alive again ... but in the dream i was freaking out because i had just realized in present time that they were alive ! But i thought they were dead ! ( which they really are in RL ) so i was all oh man i have to get them some water !!! they have gone for months without water ! so i gave them water and they drank a LOT and then i had to go leave to direct my film After i left i realized that i forgot about nez ( nez was a pet mouse i used to have but my mom didnt know about him for a long time because i technically was not supposed to know about him.) But i was all freaking out because i felt bad since he was alive and hadnt had anything to drink in a long time and now i could not water him because i was in CA. Then the dream bounces to this odd shot of robin williams and jim carrey standing in a church alongside a bunch of other pastors or something. They were in my film that was a mokumentary about church people. The whole point of the film was that crazy white haired character guy from back to the future would go around and interview church people....(sounds like a real award winner doesnt it ? ..... ) thats all i can remember about last night and my fingers are tired . PEACE ! |
| Zeph July 8, 2008 12:46 AM PDT Maybe you should start documenting the dreams in a real life journal if you haven't already. Because every dream in succession will probably be like a puzzle piece. And the way the details (the symbolism) of your dream seems to surpass those of anyone else there may mean something. The "body" dream could just simply be the remaining environmental energy of the person who passed away. Like the imprint of them embedded into the place. It could be a "spiritual" test in my opinion but that depends on if you believe in the paranormal side of the dreams. As for the stone mansion that's a harder one to begin to decipher and it more than likely holds some sort of secret tied into the person, that place or somewhere nearby since it's a shared dream. The other dreams about the animals though i have no clue. You probably already have the answer for the meaning of them in a way. The church one and it's meaning probably depends on your emotion and what you "thought" of the film in the dream. Or perhaps it's your mind's subconcious way of saying you could do much better than they were. I don't know :) Dreams are about making some sort of discovery about one's self in my opinion and every dream, no matter how strange, even if it is about someone/something else. Dreams are the best place because they exist without a sense of time and we're connected more directly to ourselves and "higher plane" per say; where discovery lies. Those of the modern esoterica, modern Druids, Native Americans and lesser known American spiritual groups for example hold many deep views about the dream "world" and the power it possesses. Especially when one is sensitive in some psychic way. Many of us had these categories of dreams and i would say explore into it as you're doing. The unknown is not something to fear and should be understood. As long as you respect it. | ||
| OzBro July 7, 2008 11:27 PM PDT Hi Brooke: This sounds like you may have some restless spirits that are infiltrating you and your roommates' dreams and new home - they're harmless, but can be paranormal nuisances. I have three suggestions for you: 1) Find some Native Dream Catchers and place them, strategically, in corners of the rooms to drive away the spirits, 2) Have a seance and make contact with them, or 3) Move out & find a place that doesn't have poltergeist activity. I'm no expert in this field, whatsoever, but I have lived with a ghost for over twenty years; so I have a pretty good idea where you are coming from. May peace be with you. :) -Brent (OzBros) | ||
